West Bengal Education has taken a significant step towards revamping its educational structure by implementing a semester system for Class 11 students starting in the academic session 2024–25. This initiative follows the approval granted by the state government to the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE). Class 12 will see the semester system rolled out in the academic year 2025–26.
