Record-breaking Number of Students Register for NEET UG 2024 as Recorded by the National Testing Agency

This year, the national eligibility and entrance test ug (neet ug) received 23 lakh applications for the exam, which will be held on May 5.

This time, the total number of registrations for the graduate medical entrance examination reached an all-time high, according to the National Testing Agency (NTA). 24, students have enrolled in a "third gender" category, out of the 23,81,833 students who have registered overall for NEET UG 2024.

Of those, over 10 lakhs are male, and more than 13 lakh are female. Approximately 10 lakh out of the 23 lakh students that have registered are OBC NCL, according to this list; 6 lakh are general students, 3.5 lakh are students from scheduled castes (SC), 1.8 lakh are from the Gen-EWS category, and 1.5 lakh are from the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category.
