Over 30 JEE Main 2024 candidates suspended for cheating face a 3-year ban.

In the JEE Main 2024 exam, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has tightened its regulations about cheating. Due to the use of unfair techniques, more than thirty candidates have been suspended and will not be allowed to retake the exam for three years.

The NTA has adopted a strong anti-cheating stance and put in place a number of safeguards to guarantee the integrity of the test. These precautions include conducting extensive inspections of exam sites, employing biometric verification, and electronically screening applicants.

The specific methods used by the suspended candidates for cheating were not disclosed in the report. However, the NTA has previously warned against using unfair techniques such as unauthorised electronic devices, written materials, or getting assistance from others during the exam.

This incident serves as a warning to future JEE Main aspirants. The NTA is committed to conducting a fair and transparent exam, and any candidate caught cheating will face severe consequences.
