SICSR Pune Admission 2023
Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research is one of the first institutes in Maharashtra for delivering exceptional IT programs. The University is founded in 1985 in Pune. SICSR Pune offers BBA, BCA, B.Sc. at the undergraduate level and MBA and M.Sc at postgraduate level respectively. The intake of candidates in BBA (IT) and MBA (IT) is 90 each whereas BCA & B.Sc. (IT) holds 60 seats each while M.Sc. (CA) and M.Sc. (SS) courses consist of 30 seats each. SICSR Admission for PG programs for academic year 2023 has begun. Candidates interested in pursuing PG programs from SICSR are requested tor register for SNAP. The last date to register for SNAP is November 24, 2022.
- The application process conducted by SICSR, Pune is both online as well as offline.
- Candidates seeking admission to UG programs must have passed 10+2 in any stream or an equivalent diploma in Engineering & Technology with a least 50% marks.
- Selection of the candidates to UG courses is based on the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) score along with Personal Interaction and Written Ability Test (PI-WAT).
- Candidates seeking admission in PG courses require a graduation degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks.
- The final selection of the candidates for PG courses is based on the score of the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) along with Group Exercise, Personal Interaction and Written Ability Test (GE- PIWAT). Interested Candidates need to note that registration for SNAP has started and will end on November 24, 2022.
- The candidates belonging to SC/ST categories are provided with a relaxation of 5% in the aggregate score of the qualifying exams.

Admissions Review: Any student who has scored above 50% in 10+2 can apply for admission to the college. Once these criteria are met, you will have to appear for the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET), which contains information on four areas: Logical Reasoning, Aptitude, English and General Knowledge. After clearing the SET, you have to attend a personal interview where the college filters the applicants en masse. All this information is also available on the university website (sicsr.ac.in). Apart from this, there are many reservations for NRI students, international students and some caste reservations, but admission is not that difficult if you are focused enough. Placement Review: In the sixth semester, there is an on-campus placement. The university first encourages students to get higher education, and those interested in internships are placed according to their skills and abilities. The average package last year was 6.5 LPA and the highest was 29 LPA. It also has a 95 per cent placement record.
