Management Development Institute (MDI) Gurgaon has started the application process for the PGDM/PGDM-HRM/PGDM-IB programs for the 2023-25 ​​academic session. Prospective applicants can submit the online application form no later than November 25, 2022 (until 5pm) via the link https://mdi.ucanapply.com/. Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is the flagship program of MDI Gurgaon. Based on past trends, the expected CAT limit for MDI is 93-95%, which is one of the highest in non-IIM B-schools.

The application process for the MDI Gurgaon PGDM 2023-25 ​​batch is expected to start in September 2022. The application process for the Executive PGDM BA program is over and the interviews are scheduled for 17 July 2022. Step 1- Eligibility Check and Application

The student must register to apply to MDI Gurgaon before the CAT exam is held i.e. in the last week of November. All students who meet the following requirements can apply:

At least 50% Marks or CGPA equivalent in both Class X and XII

Bachelor's degree (minimum 3 years for PGDM and PGDM-HRM; minimum 4 years for PGDM-IB), with at least 50% points or CGPA equivalent

Candidates who sit the final degree course exam (or equivalent exam) can also enroll in the PGDM and PGDM-HRM

Applicants for the PGDM-IB program must have a minimum of 1 year (one year) of work experience

Stage 2 - Selection

The applicants have been selected for the GD-PI-WAT round from among those applicants who have a valid CAT-2020 score, who have applied for admission to MDI Gurgaon and who meet the eligibility criteria for the program

Shortlisted applicants should log into the MDI website and enter their program preference order for PGPM/PGP-IB/PGP-HRM during January/February 2021. Once completed preferences will not be changed at any subsequent stage

Step 3 - Final selection

Following the February/March GD-PI round, final admission offers will be presented to successful applicants in April. Final selection is based on a diverse set of attributes including performance in CAT, performance in GD-PI, academics, co-curricular and extra-curricular performance, work experience among others

Summer internship programs As a mandatory part of the curriculum, PGDM and PGDM-HR students are required to complete a summer internship with an organization for a period of 6-8 weeks. The selection process for Summer Placements begins after the first quarter for freshmen. The summer internship period normally runs from early April to mid-June.

If companies feel that student performance is in line with expectations, they can offer pre-placement offers to students. In 2022, 131 students received pre-placement offers at MDI.

During MDI Gurgaon Summer Internship Placements 2023, 85 recruiters visited the campus. Among them, 22 recruiters were new. Top recruiters included Accenture, Cisco, BYJU's, Adani, EY, Flipkart, Google, etc.

A total of 358 students participated in the mediation campaign. The students received an average stipend of INR 2.32 lakhs per month. The highest allowance was INR 4 lakhs per month. The median allowance was INR 2.30 lakhs per month.

Final placements This process normally takes place in February, although recruitment through Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) and the lateral process for students with previous work experience can take place up to at least two weeks before the final placements.
