Madras Medical College
Madras Medical College (MMC) is a government institute located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. As per the latest NIRF Ranking 2022, The institute ranks 12th among the top medical colleges in India. MMC admission 2023 is ongoing for UG and PG courses. NEET Result 2022 is out now. Candidates can download the scorecard by visiting the official website - neet.nta.nic.in. NEET UG Counselling 2022 by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Also, NEET PG 2022 counselling has been postponed, revised schedule for the same will be announced soon.
Madras Medical College is affiliated to MGR Medical University. MMC offers courses like MBBS, B. Pharma, BPT & BSc (Nursing) at Undergraduate Level and MD, MS, M. Pharma & MSc (Nursing) at Postgraduate Level. It is also offering PG Diploma and Super-Specialty courses like DM & MCh at various disciplines. For the MBBS course, 15% of seats are filled through the NEET-UG basis while 85% of seats are reserved for State Quota. For all PG Diploma, MD, and MS courses, 50% of seats are reserved for State Quota while the rest of the seats are filled through the NEET-PG basis. Admission to the B.Pharm, BPT, and B.Sc Nursing courses are conducted on a Merit basis as well as score in the TNPCEE entrance exam. The admission to the M.Sc and M.Pharm courses are conducted on the basis of the applicant’s score in the qualifying examination followed by Counselling.

Madras Medical College Admission 2023
Madras Medical College (MMC) is affiliated to The Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University. It offers MBBS, B.Pharm, BPT & B.Sc (Nursing) at UG level and MD, MS, M.Pharm & M.Sc (Nursing) at PG level. Madras Medical College also offers PG Diploma and Super-specialty courses, namely, DM & M.Ch in various disciplines.

- For the MBBS course, 15% of seats will be filled on the basis of NEET-UG score while 85% through State Quota.
- For all PG Diploma and MD & MS courses, 50% of seats will be reserved for State Quota while the rest of the seats will be filled on the basis of a valid NEET-PG score.
- The admission to B.Pharm, B.Sc (Nursing), and BPT are granted on the basis of marks in 10+2 and Tamil Nadu Professional Courses Entrance Examination (TNPCEE) conducted by Anna University.
- Merit in the qualifying examination and performance in Tamil Nadu Post Graduate Entrance Examination is the only criteria to secure admission in M.Sc (Nursing) & M.Pharm courses.
- A valid score in the entrance and relevant work experience is required to take admission in DM & M.Ch courses.
- Total 262 seats are available in the courses offered by Madras Medical College.
- State Quota admissions are governed by the Directorate of Medical Education, Kilpauk, Chennai.
- All India Quota admissions are governed by Director General of Health Sciences (DGHS), New Delhi.
- Candidates have to fill the application form (available on the official website of Directorate of Medical Education) and submit the same through the post.
