Numerous courses are offered by IGNOU Delhi, each of which has different eligibility criteria. Mentioned below is a list of a few courses offered by Indira Gandhi National Open University with their eligibility criteria:

B.Sc Eligibility

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 with science subjects or their equivalent from a recognized university to be eligible for the course.



Ph.D. Eligibility

• Candidates must have passed a master’s degree from a recognized university or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in such fields of study
• At least 55% marks and 50% marks in the case of SC, ST, and OBC to be eligible for the course.



MBA Eligibility

• Candidates who are graduates (Including Chartered Accountancy/ Cost Accountancy/ Company Secretaryship) with 50% marks for the general category/ 45% for the reserved category.
• Should have cleared the OPENMAT entrance test of IGNOU conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) are eligible for the course.

Students must follow the given steps to register themselves:

• Visit the official website of IGNOU i.e. www.ignou.ac.in
• In the main menu click on ‘Register Online.
• After that, you will be redirected to the OAS page.
• Fill in all the required information to appear for the exam of IGNOU and then submit.



Before registration, students must ensure that they have the following documents:

• Scanned photograph & signature (maximum size 100 KB)
• Scanned copy of Age Proof & documents in support of educational qualification (Size 400 KB)
• Scanned copy of Age Proof & documents in support of educational qualification (Size 400 KB)
• BPL Certificate (size must be less than 400 KB)
• Fees can be paid through credit/debit card or net banking.




How to fill the Online Admission Form (OAS):



• Initially, click on the new user registration link & provide the basic details like name, mobile number & DOB.
• Now fill the whole application form with due attention & verify the details & submit it. After form submission, your username & password will be provided to you on the registered email ID & phone number.
• Now login again through the existing user section & fill out the online application form. You need to provide the following details in the application form.
• Personal Information IGNOU FEE Details.
• Educational Qualifications (course & correspondence details)Educational Qualifications (course & correspondence details).
• Upload of desired (scanned) documents.
• After completion of all details click on ‘make payment’ & pay through debit/credit card or net banking (INR 60 only).




Status of Application:

Students can check their application status by simply clicking on the ‘Know your status’ section on the home page of OAS. They have to enter their contact number & the application status will be displayed on the screen (whether the application is successfully submitted on in progress).
NOTE: Students can also re-register themselves by following the same application platform as is given for general registration.



Guidelines for Admission for International Students

Foreign students residing in India having a valid student visa are eligible to seek admission in IGNOU’s selected programs. They will be required to pay an international fee applicable to them. For more details, the students can visit the “International Students” icon on the official website of the University. Programs with a limited number of seats are not offered to foreign students.
Students can download the admission form from the website www.ignou.ac.in. They must fill up all the necessary columns and attach the relevant documents along with the fee. Submit the hard copy of the form at Director, International Division, IGNOU, Block No. 15. Section K, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi.
