What is M.Com

Masters of Commerce or M.Com is a degree course that is ideal for candidates who want to pursue a career in banking financial management and protection (BFSI) such as accounting and business. The 2-year course delves into economics, capital, income, exchange, payments, and more for BCom graduates.
As M.Com is a specialized subject in itself, only candidates who have pursued BCom or BCom (H) can pursue it. M.Com is also a good choice for CA/CS candidates. However, many CA/CS aspirants do not pursue M.Com as CA/CS courses can be taken after the 12th.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Com

  • The minimum eligibility criteria for M.Com is a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in B.Com or BCom (Honours) or equivalent from a recognized university
  • Some universities also induct students who have completed Economics (H), BBA, BFIA, and BBE will a minimum score of minimum 60% aggregate or equivalent
  • Reserved category students are entitled to marks relaxation of up to 5% State level universities also offer marks relaxation to home students
