About BCECE :

BCECE, which stands for Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination, is administered by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examinations Board (BCECEB). This examination serves as the gateway for candidates aspiring to pursue courses in engineering, medical, and agricultural disciplines at institutes situated in Bihar. Successful performance in BCECE opens doors to admission in various esteemed programs. Notably, admissions to B.Tech and B.Arch programs are determined by BCECE scores, while for MBBS, the selection criterion is based on performance in the NEET UG examination. Eligibility criteria for the BCECE 2023 application form vary based on the course applied for, such as agriculture and pharmacy. The following are the criteria for domicile, age, and qualification:

Domicile Criteria:
• Nationality: Applicants must be Indian citizens.
• Residency: Candidates should be residents of Bihar state, and their parents must be permanent residents of Bihar.
• Special Cases: Candidates with parents registered as refugees in Bihar or whose parents, while belonging to different states, are government employees in Bihar can also apply.

Age Criteria:
• Medical Courses: Candidates must have attained 17 years of age as of December 31, 2024.
• Pharmacy Courses: A minimum age limit of 17 years is required.
• Agriculture Courses: The minimum age limit is 16 years as of 31st December 2024.
• Engineering Courses: No specific age limit is applicable.

Qualification Criteria for Pharmacy (4 years Course):
• Qualifying Exam: Completion of intermediate or its equivalent exam from a recognized board.
• Subjects: Passing the qualifying exam with physics and chemistry as compulsory subjects and one elective subject from mathematics/biology.
• Minimum Marks: Attaining a minimum of 45% marks for general candidates and 40% marks for reserved candidates in the intermediate or equivalent exam.
• Eligibility for Candidates Appearing in 12th Exam: Applicants appearing in the 12th or equivalent exam are eligible, but they must have passed the exam at the time of counseling.

Qualification Criteria for Medical Courses:
• Qualifying Exam: Successful completion of 10+2/higher secondary/ISc or its equivalent examination from a recognized university.
• Subjects: Passing the above exam with English (Language & Literature), Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology).
• Eligibility for Appearing Candidates: Even candidates appearing for the exam can apply.

1. Step 1: Visit the official BCECE 2024 exam website and locate the "Apply on BCECE 2024" link.
2. Step 2: Complete the online registration form by providing a valid email ID and mobile number. Upon registration, an activation code will be sent to the registered mobile number. Enter the activation code and proceed to sign in using the registered email and password.
3. Step 3: Fill in the required details and click on "Save & Next."
4. Step 4: Upload a signature and photograph as per the specified guidelines, then click "Save & Next."
5. Step 5: Review the BCECE 2024 application form. Ensure accuracy in the provided information across the aforementioned steps and affirm the accuracy by ticking the "Declaration" checkbox.
6. Step 6: Complete the BCECE 2024 application fee payment. The fee can be paid through both Offline and Online modes. Following the payment, candidates can download the completed application form for future reference.
