Commercial Pilot License

The Commercial Pilot License (CPL) is a DGCA-issued license that permits students to function as Pilot in Command of any aircraft and get compensated for it. A CPL holder is qualified to fly single and multi-engine airplanes, as well as function as a co-pilot in aircraft. The CPL course is all about flying an aircraft in the air, which covers general flying, aircraft testing, and skill exams as required by the DGCA. CPL training has grown in popularity among students who want to fly an aircraft and master every subject of the CPL course, resulting in a growth in the number of aviation schools and flying clubs in India. An aspirant can enroll in the course by taking numerous tests, or it may be merit-based for specific universities. Following completion of the CPL course, candidates must complete a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of one year of training before applying for a job as a pilot in government and private airlines, where they are paid to fly as a pilot, transport cargo and passengers, and perform other operations such as aerial surveying and search and rescue.
