WGSHA, Manipal Admission 2023
Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration was founded in the year 1986 and is located in Manipal. The Institute is affiliated to MAHE Manipal. WGSHA, Manipal offers BA course of 3 years duration and BHM of 4 years duration at UG level. It also offers M.Sc, MA and MHM courses at PG level which are of 2 years duration.
- Candidates who have passed 10+2 or have its equivalent qualification are eligible for admission to UG courses.
- Candidates who hold a Bachelor’s Degree are considered eligible for PG courses.
- Admission to UG programs is based on the merit in Department Test, Group Discussion, Panel Interview and Personal Interview.
- Securing admission into PG programs depends upon merit in the qualifying exam and performance in Personal Interview.
- Admission of NRI/Foreign candidates subject to filling of application, submitting eligibility documents and payment of fees.
- Candidates need to apply online for admission into any UG and PG courses. The application form is available online and the fee could be paid through an Electronic Payment Gateway.
WGSHA, Manipal UG Admission 2022
Candidates may take admission in the BA program of 3 years duration and Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) course of 4 years duration. Those who are seeking admission in BA and BHM course shall have passed 10+2/ A level/ IB/ American 12th grade or equivalent qualification. Admission to the eligible candidates is given on the basis of merit obtained in Department Test (DT), Group Discussion (GD), Panel Interview and Personal Interview.
- It is mandatory for all the applicants to have Indian citizenship.
- Candidates may apply under both General and Foreign/ NRI category, but any change from Foreign/ NRI category to General category after admission will not be entertained.
- Foreign/NRI candidates need to apply online and submit the Eligibility documents for admission. On this, MAHE will send the admission notice and students then need to make the required payment.
WGSHA, Manipal PG Admission 2023
MAHE offers M.Sc, MHM, and MA at PG level. All the courses are of 2 years duration. Candidates who hold Bachelor’s Degree are eligible to apply for PG programs. Selection of the candidates for admission is done on the basis of their merit in the qualifying examination and performance in the Personal Interview.
- Candidates who have completed Graduation in a subject other than Hotel Management shall apply for three months of bridge program parallel to the Master’s program.
- NRI or Foreign or Indian candidates can apply for admission with the support of their NRI relatives.
- For NRI/ Foreign category candidates separate merit list is produced.
- Foreign/NRI candidates need to apply online and submit the Eligibility documents for admission. On this, MAHE will send the admission notice and students then need to make the required payment.

Scholarship:-
The college does not have any fixed annual scholarship scheme. Some concessions may be availed as:
- Fee Waivers: Students with financial causes can visit the office of the Registrar and apply for State scholarships via the forms available. Students with Konkani as their mother tongue and valid proof of the same can obtain a 10% concession.
- Academic Scholarship: Marks secured in the 10th Grade and 12th Grade of school and the entrance test conducted by the university are considered while offering admission to the students. Meritorious students are offered scholarships.
