St. Joseph Degree and PG College offer Bachelor’s in Science, Commerce, Business Administration, and Arts in an array of disciplines. For B.Sc courses, candidates must have Higher Senior Secondary Certificate in Science stream with at least 50% marks. Candidates applying for B.Com, B. A and BBA must have passed class 12th with CEC/ MCE/ MPC/ BiPC as main subjects and must have scored 60% aggregate marks. Admissions to all the courses are merit-based. For Bachelor’s in Mass Communication & Journalism, candidates must have studied English in class 12th and the marks of the same will be considered for admission.

The institute offers Master’s in Computer Applications, Business Administration, Communication & Journalism, Commerce and Finance & Control. Admissions to MBA and MCA are based on Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) conducted by State Government. For MCJ, MFC and M.Com, candidates will be selected on the basis of the entrance exam conducted by Osmania University (OUCET). Candidates applying for MBA and MCA must have completed graduation in any stream with at least 50% aggregate marks. Such applicants must have studied Mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects in class 12th. For admissions to M.Com and MFC courses, candidates must hold Bachelor’s in Commerce with Accounts & Economics and minimum 50% aggregate score.

Placement is an integral part of the college Administration. The Institution has a tie-up with Deloitte, a multinational US-based company. Our students have been placed at Deloitte, Dell, IBM, Wipro, Infosys, HSBC, Tata Teleservices, Convergys, Transdyne, ADP, Apollo Health Street, Cognizant, ICICI Bank, Federal Bank, Kotak Mahindra, ICICI Prudential, GE, Bank of America, Du Pont, Good Year, JP Morgon, India Info Line, Value Labs, GE Money, Sierra Atlantic, Amazon.com, Shiksha.com, State Bank of India, etc., to name a few.

Job Fairs are conducted in the college where reputed companies participate. The Placement cell also facilitates students to attend job fairs organized at different places in the city. The Placement Officer addresses the needs of the heterogeneous group of students with varied requirements. Every year the final year students are recruited through campus placements conducted by various national and multinational companies. The students have shown their merit & competence, which makes the recruiters approach the college year after year.

The highest salary package offered is 11 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The average salary package offered is 5-6 LPA. Companies like Amazon and many more top companies visit the campus. 

1. Merit Scholarships: The merit scholarship is initiated for meritorious students based on their performance in various tests and examinations of the College and attendance percentage. The student will be awarded merit scholarships in the month of September each year. In the first year, the scholarship will be decided on the merit of the exams & tests and attendance percentage. Merit scholarships for the consecutive years will be decided based on his/her performance in the semester examinations of each year and their proactive participation. Each combination will be considered for two merit scholarships. Combinations with more than one section will be considered proportionately.

2. Catholic – Christian Minority Scholarship scheme: The TCBC proposal will be implemented basing on the Parish Priest recommendation and submission of income certificate from statutory bodies

3. Socio – Economic Backward Scholarships: Based on the income certificate and the socioeconomic conditions the scholarship will be considered. The Consideration of Socio-economic scholarship is Students in the fee range of Upto to Rs. 30,000 - 50% Rs. 50,000 - 25% Above Rs. 50,000 - 10% Guidelines Students choosing to avail the above scholarships must apply to JOSES with supporting documents. A student who enrolls in the first year of degree or P.G. courses, who are economically weak, but diligent, are eligible to apply. He/she should furnish enough evidence of his / her eligibility enclosing Community certificate, Income certificate from statutory bodies. Applications will be scrutinized, and a final interview with or without parents by the scholarship committee will decide his/her eligibility. For subsequent years, application forms must be availed from JOSES from Sept 20th to 30th and submitted for scrutiny. Orphan student who has no other support from any source is eligible to apply for the scholarships

â–ª A bond, to the effect that the student will refund the scholarship amount if he or she leaves the College in between is to be executed â–ª To apply for JOSES, total family income of a student shall be less than Rs. 3.00 lakh (Rupees Three lakh only).

â–ª Except tuition fees any other fees of the College can be considered for scholarship. Maximum 10% of students registered for the academic year may be considered for JOSES. Application submission does not necessarily mean that the student is eligible for Scholarship. He / She shall have to complete the formalities for admission of the respective academic year. The sanction of Scholarship is valid for the particular academic year only. Students shall apply every year for getting scholarships. Students availing scholarships from any other organization / agency is disqualified to apply for this scheme.

4. Employees Children Scholarship: 50% Scholarships will be provided for employees children studying in the College. Any further financial assistance will be considered in consultation with HAES Chairman/ Secretary.

5. Alumni Association Scholarships: Alumni Association is encouraged to help economically weak students through the Alumni Fund. Students seeking support can approach the ED Cell

6. Installment Facility: Students unable to pay their fees in two installments can avail this facility by filling a prescribed application form available in the Office of Admissions. Such applications can be processed by the Principal on specified dates. The students must pay the installments on the days prescribed by the office in 3 or 4 installments. Installments will be monitored by the departments.
