The story of Haridas Achratlal College of Commerce popularly known as H.A. College of Commerce started in 1956 when the philanthropic businessman and visionary Sheth Shri Haridas Achratlal made a generous donation to the Gujarat Law Society for the establishment of this institution. H.A. The College of Commerce is a single-faculty scholarship college affiliated with the University of Gujarat under Section 2 (F) and Section 12 (B) of the UGC Act, offering Post Graduate and Post Graduate courses. The college is managed by the Gujarat Law Society, the premier educational foundation of Gujarat. GLS was founded in 1927 by industrialist Kasturbhai Lalbhai, Ganesh Mavlankar, who later became the first speaker of independent India, and Iron Man of India Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. For nearly nine decades, GLS has been led by strong and exemplary leaders who have taken the various organizations individually and the faith forward as a whole.
