About AVC College
One of the prestigious engineering colleges in the state of Tamil Nadu, A.V.C. College of Engineering (AVCCE) was founded in 1996. One of the first self-supporting institutions in the Nagapattinam region, it is affiliated with Anna University in Chennai and offers seven B.E. programmes, three M.E. courses, an MBA, and an MCA programme. 72 students can be admitted into the department of mechanical engineering, 60 into the information technology programme, and 36 into each of the other B.E. degrees. There are 14 seats available for each course in M.E. programmes.
AVC College Admissions 2023
- The applicant must be a Tamil Nadu resident.
- Candidates for the B.E. or B. Tech. degree must complete the 10+2 in the scientific stream with PCM as a required subject.
- Candidates for the M.E. degree must hold an undergraduate engineering degree in the pertinent or related field.
- The counselling session held by the university or institute, as appropriate, must be attended by all candidates.
- M.E aspirants can apply with their GATE score, whereas B.Tech applicants must submit their applications through TNEA.
- Unless the applicant is applying through management quota, TANCET candidates are given preference if a valid GATE score is not available.
- The selection of candidates for the M.E. programme is done through counselling and using the GATE score.
- Candidates who don't have a current GATE score must take the TANCET test.
- Candidates for B.E./B. Tech are chosen through TNEA counselling. According to the scores attained by the qualified candidates on the TNEA test, seats are allocated.
- Candidates for the MBA and MCA are chosen based on their performance in the most recent qualifying exam.
- The relevant application portals allow for the online completion and submission of application forms.
- Fees can be paid with a credit/debit card or through net banking.
- In addition to the completed application form, those applying offline must send copies of their academic transcripts and a receipt for their application fee.
- Reservation is offered in accordance with guidelines established by the governments of India and the AP State.
Admission process
Candidates must register for TNEA counselling if they wish to enrol in A V C College of Engineering's undergraduate engineering programs. The application procedure is as follows:- The candidate must register for the TNEA by providing their name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, email, registration number from their 12th grade, and the year they graduated.
- The candidate can fill out the online application form after a successful registration.
- The application form must have all necessary information, and it must be accurate.
- Online payment is accepted for the TNEA application fee (Rs. 500 for general candidates and Rs. 250 for reserved category).
- The candidate should print out the entire application form for correspondence in the future.
- You must mail a copy of the printed application form and photocopies of your academic transcripts to the "Secretary, TNEA, Anna University, Chennai - 600 025" address.
