TANCET 2023 counselling was started with registration on July 11. Candidates were able to complete the TANCET counselling registration until August 5. Along with the registration, candidates had to upload the documents for TANCET certificate verification. Candidates with verified certificates can check their TANCET ranks on the login portal starting August 26. Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test, abbreviated as TANCET, is an admission test conducted to fill PG seats, across courses, in colleges of Tamil Nadu. Anna University conducts the state-level entrance exam for various PG courses, including MTech/ MArch/ MPlan/ ME, MBA and MCA programmes. More than 200 colleges situated in Tamil Nadu accept TANCET scores for admission. Every year, more than 40,000 MBA aspirants appear for the TANCET to compete for more than 15,000 seats offered by several institutes of Tamil Nadu. TANCET, conducted in an offline mode, comprises 100 objective-type questions to be answered within two hours. DTE, Chennai, administers the TANCET counselling for MBA admission of qualified candidates.

Anna University released the TANCET 2022 results in an online mode. TANCET 2022 results can be checked by visiting the exam portal available at the official website of TANCET Anna University, i.e. tancet.annauniv.edu. Candidates need to use the email ID and password to check the TANCET results. The scorecard of TANCET 2022 shall comprise details including sectional score, overall score, qualifying status and basic details of the test taker. Candidates qualifying as per the TANCET 2022 results are eligible to participate in the TANCET counselling process.
