SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination(SRMJEEE) 2024

Application Form for SRMJEEE 2024 application form was released on 10th November 2023.

Applicants are required to submit their application by 15th June 2024

About SRMJEEE 2024:

 SRMJEE serves as a nationwide engineering entrance examination facilitating admission to BTech programs offered across SRMIST campuses. Aligned with the 10+2 curriculum, the exam encompasses multiple-choice questions spanning Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, Aptitude, and English. Notably, the exam is conducted through remote proctoring, allowing candidates the convenience of taking it from their residences.
 This entrance examination functions as a unified platform for admission to various SRM Group institutes and universities situated in Chennai (Kattankulathur, Vadapalani, Ramapuram, Tiruchirappalli), the Delhi NCR Campus in Ghaziabad (UP), SRM University in Sonepat, Haryana, and SRM University in AP - Andhra Pradesh. Candidates, upon selection based on their SRMJEEE scores, are assigned campuses and courses according to their preferences expressed during the counseling process. The allocation of seats is determined exclusively by the SRMJEEE – All India Rank and the availability of seats.

• Completion of the process involves uploading necessary documents adhering to specified guidelines.
• Deadline for application submission: 13th April (Phase 1) and 15th June (Phase 2).
• Following submission, candidates are advised to retain a hardcopy for subsequent steps in the admission procedure.

Nationality:
• Applicants must be either a Resident Indian or a Non-Resident Indian (NRI) holding a PIO or OCI card issued by the Government of India to be eligible for SRMJEEE.
• Note: NRIs and holders of PIO or OCI cards issued by the Government of India, who have not taken the SRMJEEE (UG), must apply under the International student category exclusively.

Age:
• Candidates should have reached the age of 16 years and 6 months by the 31st of July in the calendar year in which the 12th Board examination is scheduled.

Qualifying Examination for all BTech Courses:
• A minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science/Information Technology/Informatics Practices/Engineering Graphics is required.
• Successful completion or current enrollment in the Higher Secondary examination (10+2 pattern) is necessary. Candidates should have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with any one of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science/Information Technology/Informatics Practices/Engineering Graphics as major subjects. This should be from a regular stream within any state board in India, CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS.
• Those who are currently in the process of completing their 12th-grade level in the year 2024 are also eligible to apply for the exam.
