About NCHMCT JEE

The National Hotel Management and Catering Skills Council (NCHMCT) administers the NCHMCT JEE for students wishing to enroll in hotel management courses offered by participating institutions. This is a national-level entrance exam. This exam allows admission to a 3-year B.Sc. Hospitality and Hotel Management Course, National Hotel Management and Catering Technical Council (NCHMCT). Applications can be completed on the official NCHMCT website.


NCHMCT JEE 2023: Application Fee

  • Students can apply offline via draft application or pay the fee by credit/debit card in online mode.
  • The registration fee is different for online mode and offline mode.
  • The application fee for the online mode is Rs. 800/- for candidates in GEN or OBC category (Rs.400/- for candidates in SC/ST/PD category)
  • For Offline mode, The application fee is Rs.900. /- for GEN or OBC category candidates (Rs. 450/- for SC/ST/PD category candidates)
  • 10+2, etc. may also appear.

Eligibility Criteria

Here are the details of the Manav Rachna University 2023 Application Form:

  • The upper age limit for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes is 25 years.
  • The upper age limit for the general division and his OBC division is he is 22 years old.
  • This upper age limit is as of on or 1st July.
  • The student must have completed her 12th or equivalent degree from an accredited institution/university.
  • 10+2, etc. may also appear.

NCHMCT JEE 2023 Counselling

Admission is based on the All India Rank (AIR) which the student secures through a written examination. The NCHMCT JEE consultation process consists of various rounds. Students must indicate their desire to attend college during the counseling process. Institutional assignments are made based on merit (AIR) and the choice of institution the student occupies.

  • 10th & 12th class mark sheet & passing certificate.
  • Category Certificate (if applicable).
  • NCHMCT JEE 2023 Rank Card & Admit Card.
  • PH certificate (if applicable).
  • DOB Certificate.

Syllabus

  • The syllabus includes subjects such as logical thinking and reasoning, numerical and analytical skills, an English component, general knowledge and current affairs.
  • Students are encouraged to complete the entire syllabus required for the exam.

Important Points

  • Corrections to the application form are not permitted.
  • This is a national-level exam required for admission for a bachelor's degree. Hospitality and hotel management courses.
  • Applications are available through NCHMCT designated centers. The filing fee can be found in the “Filing Fees” section above.
  • Candidates must achieve a score of 10+2 or equivalent in English in any subject.
  • You can choose between online and offline modes to pay your bills. Students appearing in the 12th exam can register for this exam.
  • The exam time is 3 hours.
  • The subjects included are shown in the exam pattern.
  • An auto-generated application number will be given to the applicants, on successful submission of the application.
  • The applicants are advised to take down the printout of their filled-in application forms.
  • The applicants are advised to keep an additional copy of the duly filled application form for future reference.

Tips to Prepare for NCHMCT JEE 2023

  • Create a Study Plan: Start by understanding the structure of the exam, then self-analyze your strengths and weaknesses.
  • Don't be afraid of the maths part. Practice maths for at least 30 hours every day and make sure you cover all topics.
  • Practice regularly: Start practicing early so you can cover all the topics. They find identities difficult to work with and spend a lot of time reinforcing them.
  • Keep your general knowledge up to date: Read the daily newspaper and research general guides such as the Manorama Guide. Visit GK on the website to stay up to date.
  • Understand Service Suitability Section: Analyse each question objectively and answer only based on your personal judgment.
  • Master your English skills. Begin by reviewing all grammatical concepts, practice reading and analyzing passages, and refine your vocabulary by reading newspapers and daily articles.
  • Past Papers and Mock Tests are your saviors. Make sure you pass at least 10-15 practice tests before taking the exam.
  • Stay calm and hopeful. Stay motivated and shine your way through every step of your preparation. Stay optimistic and NCHMCT JEE will definitely do the trick.
