About KCET

The Karnataka Examination Authority conducts the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) annually, facilitating admissions to B.Tech and B.Arch programs. This state-level examination is administered offline, available in both English and Kannada mediums, and has a duration of 1 hour and 20 minutes. The test is held at various examination centres. Registered candidates can obtain their KCET 2024 admit cards from the KEA UGCET website, specifically at kea.kar.nic.in. It is imperative for candidates to carry the KCET exam admit card to the examination centre. Successful candidates, based on their KCET 2024 scores, will qualify to participate in the subsequent counselling process. Admission to undergraduate courses in B.Tech/B.Arch is granted across 198 participating institutes, encompassing government-aided and private institutions, offering candidates a range of options for pursuing their higher education.

1. Access the Official KCET Website:
• Visit the official KCET website to initiate the application process.
2. New User Registration:
• Click on "New User? Register Here by Clicking" and submit necessary data, including the 13-digit student number issued by the PUE department for 2nd PUC examination takers.
3. Completion of Initial Application Section:
• Fill in personal details such as name, date of birth, email address, mobile number, security question, and security code to obtain a KCET application number 2024 and User-ID.
4. Accessing the Account:
• Use the provided User ID and password to access your account.
5. Submission of Student Information:
• Complete the "Student Information" section and save your entries
6. Academic Information Entry:
• Enter academic details and click "save and next."
7. Upload Documents:
• Scan and submit the candidate’s photo, signature, left-hand thumb impression, and parent's signature on the KCET application form.
8. Final Submission Process:
• After completion, applicants will receive an application ID and password via email.
• Upload recent color passport-size photo and signature in JPG/JPEG format.
• Print the "Challan Copy" and make the required payment at listed banks or use net-banking.
• Print the KCET 2024 application form on A-4-sized paper.
• Attach a passport-sized photo, signature, and left thumb impression.
• Obtain the Principal’s signature and seal from the college where Class 12 or Second PU was completed.
• Present both copies during document verification.

• A correction facility will be provided by the Karnataka Examination Authority through the official website.
• Applicants can rectify errors made during the KCET 2024 application within the correction window.
• Only specific details can be modified during the correction period.
• Candidates need to log in with their user ID and password to access the correction tool.

3. Enter Application Form Details:
• Enter the KCET application form number and the One-time password (OTP) received on the registered cellphone.
4. Update Information:
• Modify necessary details in the KCET application form 2024.
5. Review and Submission:
• Review all changes before submitting the corrected application for future reference.
