About the Exam

KCET 2023 will be held in the third week of June 2023. Karnataka Common Entrance Test is conducted by KEA (Karnataka Examination Board) every year. It is organized for admission to Engineering, B.Pharm, Architecture and various other courses. Admission is offered through various government and private institutions in the state. Admission to Dental/Medical or AYUSH Courses is based on NEET score. And admission to architecture courses is through NATA or JEE main score. From this article, candidates will get all the information about the counselling registration process for KCET 2023.

KCET Application form

  1. The application will be published online from the third week of April 2023.
  2. Candidates must submit the application form with complete and valid information.
  3. The last date for submission of the application form is the first week of May 2023.
  4. Candidates can submit the form online after filling all the required details correctly. In case of mistakes, students can make corrections by opening the correction centre.

How to Apply for KCET 2023:

  1. Visit the official website of KCET
  2. Register by entering the required information.
  3. Login with your entered login details and start filling the application online.
  4. Fill all the data of the form - personal data, communication, qualification, etc. correctly.
  5. Download scanned images of photo, signature, thumbprint, ID etc.
  6. Pay the application fee through payment gateways provided online.
  7. Take a printout of the application form and keep it for future use

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Students must have passed 12th standard or equivalent from a recognized board or institution.
  2. Appearance: Those appearing in 12th level can also apply.
  3. Eligibility Requirements: Students must have passed 12th standard in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology from an approved board.
  4. Minimum marks: In qualifying marks students must have 5% marks ( 0% of reserved classes) in PCM/PCB subjects.

Syllabus for KCET 2023

  • The exam syllabus is prepared and based on the 12th level and its various subjects.
  • The subjects are from various subjects - physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics.
  • Curriculum is prescribed by Department of Early Childhood Education, Karnataka State University.
