JCECE 2023 stands for Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination which is conducted by JCECEB. The exam is conducted for those candidates who want to seek admission in Undergraduate programme. It is a state level entrance exam. The qualified candidates can get admission in B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, B.Sc. (Hons) Forestry, Horticulture, B. Tech, B.FSc., BVSc and A.H, etc. Admission in B.Tech courses will be done through JEE Main scores. The interested candidates who meet the eligibility requirements can proceed with the application submission. JCECE 2023 Application Form

  • The JCECE 2023 application form will be made available through online mode.
  • The application form will be released from fourth week of June 2023.
  • Candidates need to fill in all the details in the application form like Name, Father�s Name, Mother�s Name, etc.
  • Candidate also need to upload the photograph and signature in the application form.
  • Candidates should fill the details correctly as no correction facility will be provided.
  • The last date to submit the application form will be fourth week of July 2023.
  • Candidates need to take the printout of the application form for future reference.

How to Apply for JCECE 2023?

  • Step 1: Go to the JCECE 2023 website.
  • Step 2: To register, click the "Apply Online" button.
  • Step 3: The candidate receives their registration number via SMS or email.
  • Step 4: After logging in, submit your application by selecting the Candidate Login option.
  • Step 5: The applicant must complete the application by providing information such as their name, parents' names, email addresses, phone numbers, etc.
  • Step 6: Add the scanned copies of your photo and signature to the application.
  • Step 7: To pay the application fee online.
  • Step 8: Save the application form for later use.

JCECE 2023 Exam Pattern

  • Exam Mode: An online platform will be used to administer the test.
  • English and Hindi will be used as the paper's medium.
  • Questions: There will be multiple-choice questions on the test (MCQs).
  • There will be 150 total marks awarded for the paper.
  • Marking Procedure: Each accurate response will receive one mark, while each incorrect response will receive one-quarter of a mark.
  • Duration: Physics and Chemistry will last for two hours, while biology and mathematics will last for one hour.

Syllabus for JCECE 2023

The exam's question bank will be based on the common curriculum for classes 11 and 12 as announced by the CBSE. The course syllabus will cover material in physics, chemistry, and math.
  • Physics includes the following concepts: magnetic effects of current and magnetism, ideal gas behaviour and kinetic theory, kinematics, the physical universe and measurement, laws of motion, work, the motion of a system of particles and a rigid body, gravitation, etc.
  • Redox reactions, hydrogen, some p-block elements, environmental chemistry, d and f block elements, coordination compounds, s-block elements (alkali and alkaline earth metals), and the structure of the atom are all covered in the subject of chemistry.
  • Permutations and theorems, the binomial theorem, series and sequences, sets, relations and functions, trigonometric functions, linear inequalities, the principle of mathematical induction, complex numbers and quadratic equations, straight lines, an introduction to three-dimensional geometry, limits and derivatives, and other topics in mathematics.
  • Biology includes topics like human and plant physiology, diversity in the living world, animal and plant structural organisation, cell structure and function, and sexual reproduction.
