What is Assam CEE
Assam Common Entrance Examination (Assam CEE) is conducted annually by the Assam Science & Technological University. Through the entrance examination, BTech admissions are provided to the participating engineering institutes of the state. The counselling process is held by The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE).

ASSAM CEE 2024 Application Eligibility criteria

Assam CEE Age Limit
|
Candidates should be at least 17 years old on August 1, 2024.
Maximum permissible age limit is 21 years.
A relaxation of three years in the age criteria is granted to candidates belonging to the SC/ST category.
Candidates completing a B.Sc degree are eligible for one year age relaxation.

Candidates must be permanent residents of Assam.

|
Should be an Indian national.

Educational Qualification
|
Should have passed class 12 or equivalent exam from Assam board or any other recognized board.
Must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English without any grace marks.
Applicants are required to have taken the examination for all subjects.

Percentage of Marks
|
General category candidates must have 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
SC category candidates need to have 45% aggregate marks, whereas ST category candidates must have 40% marks in PCM.

Other Conditions
|
Candidates are expected to possess good moral character.
Candidates must demonstrate sound physical and mental health.
Applicants seeking consideration for the Central Government Employee quota must submit proof of permanent residency from conserved state authorities outside of Assam.
